Yes, you may be right for a Soundblaster which has some kind of DSP
chip to do the mixing. I don't have a Soundblaster.
I was really thinking more of mixing programs such as PSA, which
wouldn't be needed just for mixing sources like this.
Does your Soundblaster work better on the Amiga than on a PC? I hear bad
reports of their performance under Windows.
